ContactLint Terms of Service

Last updated: October 12, 2026

ContactLint is a trade name of Crypto Boutique LLC.

These terms are an agreement between you and Crypto Boutique LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as ContactLint ("ContactLint", "we", "us"). They cover the website at contactlint.com, the ContactLint API, the MCP server, and any API keys and credits (together, the "Service"). By creating an API key or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

1. What ContactLint does

ContactLint checks email addresses and phone numbers you send it and returns the results.

2. API keys and accounts

3. Free tier, credits and payment

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per key. Requests over the limit get an error. We may change this limit.

5. Results are best effort; no guaranteed accuracy

Validation results are based on public DNS records, open-source lists and phone metadata at the time of the check. They can be wrong or out of date. A "valid" result does not mean an email will be delivered or a phone will be answered, and an "invalid" result may be wrong. Do not use results as the only basis for decisions that seriously affect a person. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep the Service available. We may change, add or remove features, endpoints or limits. For changes that break the API, we will try to give notice on the site or by the contact method you gave us.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or disable a key that breaks these terms, puts the Service at risk, or is used for abuse, with or without notice.

8. Ownership

We own the Service, its code, documentation and brand. You own the data you send us and the results we return to you. Third-party data sources keep their own licenses (disposable-email-domains, CC0 1.0; libphonenumber-js, MIT).

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data.

10. Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable costs if a claim is made against us because of how you used the Service or its results, or because of data you sent without the right to do so.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Other

If any part of these terms is not enforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our written consent.
