Email domain typos
These are 112 one-edit misspellings of yahoo.com, icloud.com, gmail.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com: two letters swapped, a letter missing, a letter typed twice, or the wrong ending after the dot. ContactLint flags every one of them and suggests the right domain in did_you_mean.
On 2026-10-17, 63 of these 112 domains had DNS records that let them receive mail. Email sent to a mistyped address on one of those domains may be accepted instead of bouncing, so the sender never finds out.
How the check works: ContactLint compares the part before the dot with the largest consumer mail providers and suggests a fix when it is exactly one edit away on the same ending, or when the ending is a known slip like .con or .cmo. Real domains that happen to be one edit away, such as ymail.com and mail.com, are never "corrected".
